The East Gippsland Catchment Management Authority is seeking the services of a suitably experienced person to join the Authority in the position of Works Supervisor.

The position plays an integral role in ensuring that the works program undertaken by the Authority is delivered on time, within budget, in a safe manner and in consultation with local stakeholders.

The position coordinates and supervises the activities of contractors and ensures projects meet quality objectives. It also ensures the Authority, and its contractors, conform to all OH&S obligations. The position engages with landholders and other stakeholders in regards to works activities and local river health issues.

Projects will be in locations across the region with an emphasis on those in the Snowy & Far East Basins. Preference will be given to candidates located in, or prepared to relocate to, this part of the region.

Salary will be in accordance with the Victorian Local Authorities Award 2001 at Band 6 Level C, (currently $984.36 per week including allowances) plus employer superannuation at 9%.
