The Regional Catchment Strategy (RCS) is a key planning document that will set priorities for land, water and biodiversity management in the region for the next 6 years and beyond.

The draft RCS has been prepared by the East Gippsland CMA. A copy can be accessed from this page.

In developing the draft RCS, the CMA has consulted widely with other agencies - such as DSE, DPI and Parks Victoria - that are involved in its implementation.

Your views on the RCS are very welcome. Information on how to do so can be found in the draft RCS. A form for this purpose is attached.

As part of thge consultation process, the CMA is also holding Open House sessions. Please consider attending a session to present your views.

Open House meetings will be held at:

Bairnsdale - 14 May 2012 - DSE Building, 574 Main Street, Bairnsdale

Mallacoota - 15 May 2012 - Mud Brick Pavilion, Lions Park

Orbost - 16 May 2012 - Neighbour House, Cnr Browning & Lochiel Streets

Swifts Creek - 17 May 2012 - Community Centre (Great Alpine Road)

Time: 3pm-8pm. No appointment is necessary.
