Trust for Nature works towards managing and conserving biodiversity on private land. Trust for Nature works with landholders to identify areas of high conservation value on their property, providing advice on the ways these are managed and arranging voluntary covenants to ensure the important vegetation on the property is maintained in the future.

East Gippsland Rainforest Conservation Management Network

The East Gippsland Rainforest Conservation Management Network aims to  increase the amount of rainforest and associated vegetation types subject to restoration, conservation and permanent protection in East Gippsland.

Gippsland Plains Conservation Management Network

The goal of the Gippsland Plains Conservation Management Network is to protect, manage and restore threatened native vegetation on the Red Gum Plains bioregion. It brings together all managers of native vegetation across public and private land in the Gippsland Plain bioregion, which stretches from east of Lakes Entrance to Melbourne.

Far East Victoria Landcare comprises 6 Landcare groups located between Nowa Nowa and the Victorian-New South Wales border. It employs 2 staff members to support Landcare groups and carry out projects.

East Gippsland Landcare Network comprises 24 Landcare groups located from just west of bairndale to Lakes Entrance and East Gippsland High Country. It employs 3 staff members to support Landcare groups and carry out projects.

 

Snowy River Interstate Landcare Committee

Snowy River Interstate Landcare Committee in unique in that the area straddles the Victorian High Country and into New South Wales. The Committee hosts 9 Landcare groups, one in Victoria and eight in New South Wales. The region stretches from the Monaro in southern NSW to the northern reaches of Far East Gippsland in Victoria. It employs 1 staff members to support Landcare groups and carry out projects.

The Gunaikurnai Land and Waters Corporation (GLaWAC) represents Traditional Owners who were recognised in the Native Title Consent Determination, made under the Traditional Owner Settlement Act 2010.
